- Gold: recommended 11+ students
- Silver: recommended 6–10 students

(*Solo entries counted per participation; e.g. one student in 3 classes = 3 counts. Ensemble/Choral counted by number of members.)
2. Outstanding Music Education Award – At least 1 student obtains Champion/2nd/3rd Place or Gold (Kindergarten Gold Award not counted)
3. Top Music Education Achievement Award – More than 3 students obtain Champion/2nd/3rd Place or Gold (Kindergarten Gold Award not counted)
1. Parent-Child Harmony Award – Parent(s) and child(ren) both participate in this competition (same or different classes)
2. Family Music Education Exemplar Award – Child(ren) obtain Champion/Runner-up or Gold in at least 3 entries (Kindergarten Gold Award not counted)
- Musical style & expression: 40%
- Tone & rhythm: 30%
- Technical performance: 15%
- Fluency & completeness: 10%
- Stage presence & manner: 5%
1. Shooting range: Full body / half body of performer + the instrument being played
- Piano: keyboard and pedals must be visible
- Other instruments: full view of instrument
2. Resolution: 720p (1280×720) or higher
3. Performance & filming
- Focus on artistic level; filming method and equipment do not affect scoring
- May play from memory or with sheet music
- Horizontal or vertical orientation acceptable
- Mobile phone recording allowed
- No encouragement to use professional equipment (e.g. grand piano), but instrument must be properly tuned
- Must be one continuous take, live sound recording; no editing, post-production, or mixing allowed.
(Violation will result in disqualification and no refund of registration fee.)
4. Piano accompaniment (for strings / winds / voice pieces requiring accompaniment):
Any one of the following is acceptable for convenience:
- No accompaniment
- Pre-recorded accompaniment audio playback
- Live piano accompaniment
(Judging focuses on technique, intonation, rhythm, and musical expression.)

To ensure the competition proceeds smoothly and fairly, please read the following important notes and competition terms and conditions carefully.
Registration and payment indicate that the participant (and guardian, if applicable) has fully read, understood and agreed to all terms. We strive to provide a high-quality competition experience and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
• Performance Diploma Class and Professional Class may consist of 1–3 pieces (total duration not exceeding 25 minutes).
All other classes must submit one piece only (duration not exceeding 10 minutes).
Exceeding the time limit may result in deduction of marks or disqualification; fees paid will not be refunded.
• Grade Classes must select repertoire appropriate to the entered grade level.
Popular Music Class must choose pop, jazz, rock, blues or any popular music.
Other classes have no restriction on repertoire type or level.
• If the submitted performance does not match the score or the entered grade level, no score or award will be given (comments only).
• All works must be performed/sung by the participant themselves.
• Open to participants of any nationality/region.
• Age Classes must be entered according to actual school grade or age; other classes have no age limit.
• Use the name exactly as shown on your identity document and double-check all information before submission.
• Participants may enter multiple classes, but may not enter the same class more than once.
• Only one submission per class is allowed; repeated submissions will be judged based on the first one received.
• Please take a screenshot after submission. If no confirmation is received within 3 working days, please contact the organiser.
• The jury consists of experienced music educators and professional performers. The jury’s decision is final; no appeals or requests to view detailed scores will be accepted.
• The organiser reserves the right to merge similar instrument into one group if the number of entries is too low, to ensure fair competition and complete categories.
• The organiser reserves the right to adjust judging standards, cancel or modify classes, or disqualify individual participants without prior notice. In case of any dispute, the organiser’s decision is final.
• Registration fees are non-refundable once paid.
• In the event the competition is cancelled due to force majeure, full refund will be issued (deducting any payment platform fees, if applicable).
• All complimentary gifts are provided free of charge. The organiser will endeavour to maintain quality but does not guarantee exact colour, design or condition. No replacement, refund or compensation will be provided for defects, damage or loss.
• SEN students and persons with disabilities: HK$100 discount per entry (no limit)
Example: Piano Grade 3 Class + Piano Junior Primary Class → HK$200 deduction.
• Valid proof must be provided at registration. False declaration will result in disqualification and no refund.
• Champion, 2nd/3rd Place, Gold, and other outstanding performances may be published on organizer’s social platforms (website, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) with participant name, class, and award indicated.
Delivery fee
• SF Station / self-pickup locker: free
• Door-to-door delivery: +HK$50
(11+ entries → free door-to-door to same address)
• Remote area surcharge: HK$5–10 payable by recipient at pickup (charged by SF Express)
• Mainland China / overseas: shipping fee based on weight after results announcement
- After results announcement, organizer will send “Award Delivery Form”; participants fill in details. Awards will be dispatched as soon as possible and notified via WhatsApp.
